I guess I should move my William Nott and Agnes Louisa Hemmings Victorian marriage look up request over here shouldn't I instead of boring the rest of em silly... :rolf The were married when they arrived in Maryborough in 1883. Please!!!!

Such a tiny bit of info but it took all morning to find it and great excitement in finding it ... I found 8 children born in Qld. Cant find deaths cause they were still alive in Electoral Rolls in 1936 and Qld deaths stop 1925 I think it is.

I have a look at me shipping links...and see if i can find e'm. If William married Agnes in Sept Qrt.1883 England...then they musta boarded a ship straight away to arrive in Maryborough in 1883

Can see William and Agnes arriving in Q.L.D ( both aged 21 ) on the "Merkara" 12th Dec 1883..........soooo all that fits in, seeing they married in Sept 1883 in mother England.

Cant find any one else ( NOTT ) on same ship or an Edward NOTT, so perhaps Edward came in a bit later or was in Melbin or elsewhere. He married Elizabeth Mepps in 1885 in Q.L.D......sooo a window of 2-3 years from 1883 if he didnt arrive with William.

My gg grandfather came out with a brother...fact
Landed in Melbourne before going to Qld in 1887....fact
Edward was in Qld to marry Elizabeth Mepps before birth of first child 1886.....fact
I found marriage of Edward Nott to an Elizabeth Nefis in 1885 Qld BDM ????????.......Possibility the way they keep spelling her name.
Henry must have been in Melbourne still.
I vote that it was Henry and Edward that travelled together.
I will go check out my UK census records again about Edward I couldn't find Henry in 1882 If I remember correctly and I think the Edward I found spelt his name Knott I sinned and assumed it was misspelt. I know remove the U and Me and it leaves Ass... :rolf :rolf
But the 2 of them arriving in Melbourne 1882 works with the other dates doesn't it.
