Re: Dizzi aka Gwen
Looking our first caravan over. We had been camping in a little 2 man tent for the weekend, the last night it rained solidly all night and we awoke to water inside the tent. Speaking to the owner on checking out, we said we kept missing the cheap ones, he had one for sale. So are our caravanning started.
Sitting on top of Bredon Hill, just outside of Evesham. We had walked up to the top to watch the sunrise on the summer solstice. I remember the first time we went up that hill Dizz had to keep stopping to catch her breath, that morning she managed to get to the top with out stopping.
A little bit later that morning. Dizz had spotted a thistle which in the half light looked blood red rather then the normal purple.
Five minutes after this one Dizz was snoring her head of.
And no that wasn't smoke coming out of my mouth it was cold!

An other one from the Vale of Evesham
From a trip to have a look at Camber Castle. (Yes she was wearing a blonde wig??)
At our favourite place to eat. (Carvery all you eat £4.20 say no more) I think its one of the nicest ones I found so far. Picture of Dizz that is not the carvery.

From a trip to the Museum of Rural Kent.
Dizz kept walking around going I remember when..... One of the visits to the woods where "Lew's Tree" stands.
We've been there quite a few times, laid a flower under "Lew's Tree" and almost every time Dizz ended up gently falling on her bum, was almost like slow motion. She always said it was Lew pushing her

Dressed as Pirates in Hastings. (For Pirate Day we are both still part of the record breaking pirates after hammering the other couple of scurvy towns numbers. Forgot about that till I started writing this )
"Thar be pirates around these parts somewhere"
The 2012 Guinness World Record title of 14,231 piratical people in one place, still rests with Hastings!

Just received a couple of photo's from AnninGlos on GR.
They were taken at Dizzi's 60th birthday BBQ at Newby's(Kim) near Evesham.
Gwen with the lovely Daff (who sadly is no long with us)
Gwen and CarolB away with the fairies. Well looking at fairies anyway.

Thanks for sharing Stu, lovely memories for you.
Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.

Found some more.
Sitting amongst some bluebells. Woods near Sedlescombe.
How she usually avoided having her picture taken.
Sitting enjoying the sun in my back garden.
Standing under one of the apple trees in my back garden.
