All he knows of Marthas parents is her mother and her name was Sarah..father unknown..nothing else..

Found a death for

William Adams Gloucester June Q. 1925...6a 410.age 59..

A bit out with age but that can depend who reported the death..

Cant find the death that the person I first found had in her tree of 1948 in Bradford Yourshire..dont know where she got it from..

Mary, my tree would be on Ancestry and I was born in 1948.
Cooper was my maiden name.

My grandfather George William Adams died in 1948, in Bradford, Yorkshire.
I was about 6 months old, so he would have died about July. Kate and William were
Georges parents.

It does get very confusing.. I wish they had been more imaginative with names.

Q More info on your tree.. cant find it..tried Susan Cooper 1948 Bradford York and got someone else..

Just got an email from my cousin in Guernsey and its as
I thought, she doesn't remember anything. The only thing
she did say was that she that her dad George and gone to Sheffield looking
for his Dad William. Shefiield was where William and Kate married. My
Aunt wouldn't know that William was from Gloucester. I think I looked at the Sheffield
records years ago and didn't find any thing.

She did confirm that Kate had comitted suicide and she remembers going to the caravan
and he was called Uncle Bunky.

Apparently George didn't talk much about his family but they did visit Kate regularly.

Q , I don't suppose she remembers when your grandfather went to Sheffield? Always disaaponting when we have to go back to the drawing board - happens with my gt,gt,gt George Armitage which is why I enjoy researching for people if we can break down brick walls. LM may have some ideas we can follow.
