Wake up little suzie, wake up, wake up little suzie, wake up
We both fell sound asleep, wake up little suzie and weep
The movies over, its four oclock and were in trouble deep
Wake up little suzie, wake up little suzie
Well, what're we gonna tell your ma, what're we gonna tell your pa
What're gonna tell our friends when they say ooh la la
Wake up little suzie, wake up little suzie
We both fell sound asleep, wake up little suzie and weep
The movies over, its four oclock and were in trouble deep
Wake up little suzie, wake up little suzie
Well, what're we gonna tell your ma, what're we gonna tell your pa
What're gonna tell our friends when they say ooh la la
Wake up little suzie, wake up little suzie

You can't use the same word - it's not fair - it's cheating - that's what it is
I was yours before the first morn broke
Before the sun that woke the earth
And I was yours before rain kissed the ground
Before the first dawn's sound was heard
I'll be the whisper of angels
And I'll be the frost on your glass
And I'll be the shadows at twilight
I'll be your first your last
I'm doing it properly - I'm a good girl, I am
I was yours before the first morn broke
Before the sun that woke the earth
And I was yours before rain kissed the ground
Before the first dawn's sound was heard
I'll be the whisper of angels
And I'll be the frost on your glass
And I'll be the shadows at twilight
I'll be your first your last
I'm doing it properly - I'm a good girl, I am

You make up the rules as you go along Sweetpea - there is absolutely nothing in the rules to say that you can't use the same word twice!
Burnt out ends of smokey days
The stale cold smell of morning
The street lamp dies, another night is over
Another day is dawning
Daylight, I must wait for the sunrise
I must think of a new life
And I mustn't give in
When the dawn comes tonight will be a memory too
And a new day will begin
PS I love that last song you posted - I have Amici the Opera Band singing it.

Thanks for the memory
Of candlelight and wine, castles on the Rhine
The Parthenon and moments on the Hudson River Line
How lovely it was!
Thanks for the memory
Of rainy afternoons, swingy Harlem tunes
And motor trips and burning lips and burning toast and prunes
How lovely it was!
Grizzle-pot - if we all kept doing the same word - well, what would be the sense in that :rolf :rolf :rolf

I think it is a challenge to think of several songs with the same word
Bottle of wine, fruit of the vine, when you gonna let me get sober. Leave me alone. Let me go home. Let me go home and start over.
Well, I've rambled around this dirty old town singing for nickels and dimes.
Times getting' rough. I can't get enough to buy me a little bottle of wine.
Well, little hotel, older than hell, cold as the dark in the mine.
Light so dim, I had to grin, I got me a little bottle of wine.
Well, the preacher will preach and the teacher will teach. The miner will dig in the mine.
I ride the rods, trusting in God, huggin' my little bottle of wine.
Well, pain in my head, bugs in my bed, pants so old that they shine.
Out on the street, I tell the people I meet to buy me a little bottle of wine.

Lack of imagination, methinks
Eve and adam had a garden everything was great
Till one day a boy says pardon miss my name is snake
See that apple over yonder if you'll take a bite
You and adam both are bound to have some fun tonight
Go on and eat forbidden fruit
It's mighty sweet forbidden fruit
It's quite a treat forbidden fruit
Go ahead and taste it you don't wanna waste it

Well she got her daddys car
And she cruised through the hamburger stand now
Seems she forgot all about the library
Like she told her old man now
And with the radio blasting
Goes cruising just as fast as she can now
And she'll have fun fun fun
til her daddy takes the t-bird away
Think what you like Sweetpea - doesn't bother me

I heard you on the wireless back in Fifty Two
Lying awake intent at tuning in on you.
If I was young it didn't stop you coming through. Oh-a oh
They took the credit for your second symphony.
Rewritten by machine and new technology,
and now I understand the problems you can see. Oh-a oh
I met your children Oh-a oh
What did you tell them?
Video killed the radio star.
