The Waltzing Matilda is a general help site about Australia.
Perhaps you are thinking of Holidaying here, or even moving here?.. and need to know something about the Country or suggested places to visit or live( Workwise ). Australia is an Island, but there are over 8,000 smaller Islands surrounding it to visit and holiday on as well.

When i visited the U.K on Holiday, some U.K peeps were very helpful about interesting and historical places to visit, so i would like to return the favour. :D

Perhaps you might like a general idea of whats what, and where is it.
What is the best time of the year to come vist..?

What Historical sights can you visit in Oz. and where are they.

Can you drive around Australia.
Is there a Time Zone difference between East and West coast. ( Yes )
Car hire, or Accomodation, Petrol prices,or you want to visit Aussies Gold fields, or Pioneer settlements, Historical....or just a question in general.

Leave an enquirey, and myself or some Aussie would only to happy to give you some hints or clues on the best sites and holiday locations downunder.

We lived in Western Australia for 10 years and visited all the other states during our time there, so may be able to help out?

Pat and I were actually married there!
