Hello Eric, a couple of questions on information I may have missed while was cutting and pasting sections of your posts it to a word documant to help me get a picture.
When, where did Olive Blanche die? Did she ever remarry? Where is she buried?
I gather you must have confirmation of John James Duncan Clark's birth and his the names of his parents as you have located thier wills.
What were the names of JJD's siblings?
I got a littl confused about Charlotte - did you refer to her at one stage as Olive's step mother -or was that supposition given that you could not find Olive's birth. Which of her christian names did Olive go by, was there a pet name?
Ernest described himself a cook or chef on the electoral rolls found so far - maybe he was the cook at the Cape Jervis camp, who knows.
let me know if you want me to recheck anything, either on line or at the NLA
I went to Ro0kwood out of interest with a close friend of ours who was going to collect 6 heritage roses - a gift from Rookwood. I had heard so much about the cemetery that I wanted to see it for myself. We met two relatives of our friend also and had an interesting day wandering around and listening to guides
