So in all that he was in

the 1st and 2nd (Volunteer) Battalions The Worcestershire Regiment and they were foot soldiers? Not engineers or Queens Guards ... oh well there goes another family fable :rolf :rolf :rolf

Nope no good Gwen really bad photo and the buttons are blank.

This has been the problem the whole time no matter what we do to the photo the badges and buttons are blank.

they married 1st June 1841 Droitwich Hampton Lovett Worcestershire

Hanna...............1845............Endbridge Worcestershire
Mary Ann............1849 all the rest were born Hampton, Lovett, Worcestershire
Edward...............1853
Emma.................1855

Henry..................1857 my ggrandfather he married Annie Hunt daughter of George Hunt who's naval records I need from Kew and can't seem to be able to find someone to look for them so guess it must be a too hard thing...lol

Fanny..................1860
William................1862

Emma, Fanny, Henry and one brother all emigrated to Australia and married over here.
