Searching the database.

Post by Stu in Hastings »

I think I have tryed to keep the search simple, but please let me know if not.

When using the search the full name doesn't need to be put in but the more of the field is filled the fewer results.
e.g. Ann when used as the given name will produce Ann, Anna, Anne, Annie ect,

To see the full detail of the record you wish either click on the Surname or First name of the record you want and you will be taken to the detail page of that record.

It is also posible to edit the record or add new records via the search page if you are a member of the transcribers group. If you wish to join the transcriber group you can do so via the User Control Panel then click the groups tab.

Any questions you have please ask and I will do my best to answer as quick as possible.
