Thanks Dizzi, Sorry I forgot to say that I knew that Micheal Qinn was Christopher's Father and that William was Kate's, it's trying to find any other information that is my brickwall.

Cathy Have been having a look for you and dont seem to be able to find anyhing other than what you have found..
Did Christopher have a brother Denis, as there is a Denis Quinn married a Mary Burns 18/6/1881 in Adelaide and father Michael..spouses father was John Donoghue..didnt match the brides surname so she must have been a widow,,

By marriage cert Kate could have been born in1847 ( wrong wrong she was 21 )and Christopher was 33 -need to check but no Kate in SA which are obvious, will keep looking
Opps wrong Christpher was 33 and she was 21 when they were married.
