Can I be cheeky and ask another favour please.
Different family.
When I was researching my Coopers in Thaxted Essex and the census for 1851 was
missing on ancestry and I did write to them. I was wondering if it
is on yet.

The family name is Cooper, the head Samuel.
It was only Thaxted that was missing, and just for 1851
Anyway the names
Samuel Cooper Born 7 th April 1800 Head
Mary Cooper b. abt 1800 wife
Joseph b 1816
William b 1826

I have the years 1841: 1861; 1871; 1881, and 1891
So I just need to find 1851

Q were they at the same address in 1841 and 1861. Did they have a child called George in 1861 aged 14? I can only find that census forms for Manchester, Chorlton, Salford, Oldham and Ashton-Under-Lyne registration districts were too badly water damaged >nothing about Thaxted. I will email them. Opps just noticed that George is a grandson c-ccarinter too as is his grandad.

FMP says that Thaxted and Great and Little Dunmow Essex are missing for the 1851 census  There does not seem to be any further info on why these are missing. Sorry Q. Anything else we can look up. Keeps us off the streets so they say  and definately keeps my researching hand in

I think those census details must be lost.
It is okay, I have found most of the families, it would
be just nice to now where they all were.

Thank you,

I am sure that I will be able to find more if I dig deep enough.
I am still waiting to hear from some one about the Adams etc.

Barry white got back to me but he didnknow who was Marthas
mother either. I am more convinced that it isn't Sarah but probably
Hannah. Must admit I have been a bit slack, ad other things to do
yesterday.

Just going to look at the site you mentioned.
