Tony on Today Tonight the other night there is a town about 2 hours out of Melbourne selling cheap houses and a PUB if we win the Lotto I'll buy it fer ya mate... :D :D :D

A.I.F project.....AUSTRALIAN ANZACS IN THE
GREAT WAR 1914-1918

This site gives a much better detail than the origional site that was hard to read. Much more info on an individual of our Anzacs in the Great War. "Click" on "Here to search" and add a Surname and /or forename.
You can also click on the Regiment to see who your Ancestors mates were that served along side them. Excellent site.

Well......the HOWELL is my direct line ( great great grandmother ). Elizabeth HOWELL bapt. 1835 Isle of Wight England.
Elizabeth HOWELL married William HENDERSON and they moved to India ( Bombay ) where my great grandmother was born in 1852.

The MEAD is an oldie but a goodie. Mary MEAD bapt 3rd Dec 1699 Earls Colne Essex. She married THomas BYFLETT 17th Oct 1725.Essex.
Their 3rd child, Mary BYFLEET bapt.4th Aug 1732 married Benjamin HULL 29th Dec 1770

Hmmmmmmmmmm Me howells come from Marylebone in London ( or is that the Railway Station in Monopoly??) and Me Meads come from North Curry, Somersetshire. Its a small Island over there so we have to trace back further hehehehehehehehe!
