Hi Shazza. Victoria marriages on cd. only allow viewing up to 1942 mate....unfortunatley. So if its not after 1942 i can check.

Anything for marriages after 1942 comes under the Vic. privacy act.... and not available as a freebie on cd. index. Only the state of N.S.W allow up to 1957 online for free viewing. Dont ask me why......lol
Different State privacy acts ( Stupid aint it )

Have checked for you and there is a Ronald Kevin SANDARS marriage listed on my cd. in 1942 for Vic. ....BUT...the spouse name is Joyce francis CHALKER. Marriage 1942.....Reference No. 3991

Sorry mate, but there were only 4 marriages listed for SANDARS in Vic. between 1921 and 1942.........and one was a Ronald kevin SANDARS but marriage to a Joyce CHALKER.

Of course he may have remarried..if his first wife died, or he divorced and remarried a ...MARJORAM .?........ sooooo i will check for a death in Vic. up to 1985 for Joyce francis SANDARS nee CHALKER.

Nup.....No death showing up for his spouse.

Sorry Shazza.....best i can do mate, because of Victoria's privacy act.

This particular Ronald kevin SANDARS is listed on WW11 Nominal roll......Shows his wife as Joyce ( so that ties in with Joyce CHALKER )

that would have to be after 1836 when SA was settled or did they creep over the border from VIC??

Ron forgot the s off 1800 they did creep across the Vic border - Henry Peter Crafter was in Millicent in 1857 when married Sarah Ann Griffith
Emigrated to join Charles Crafter Henry Peter came ashore at Portland I think like Charles sometime between 1852 and 1957

Ron. Not that i'm aware of mate. Dont have any immeadiate Hull families in S.A in my lot.

A few G,G,Great Uncles "Brothers"( Hull ) settled firsty at Macdonnell Bay in the 1850s ( ran a butchers shop in partnership ) but disolved partnership in the late 1850s ( local newspapers of the time tells me ).....then they moved over to central Victoria, married, and settled here.

There about the only Hull's in my line ( that i know of ) that were in S.A. Only other direct blood family i had in S,A were and still are ( cousins ).....are the "COPLEY" clan and the spouses from the 1870s.
