Just looking on IGI again, Tone. I reckon William and Joseph have got to be brothers. Our lot, along with the Negus and Harper families from Melbourn, all ended up in Warrnambool too

Bummer .. not one connection nor even a simular name in any of them...

Here are mine - for me; Ron Munro

Munro - St. Andrews, Coldingham and Kelso area in Scotland.
Dowell - Arbirlot, Scotland.

Reeves - Hythe and Playden in Sussex, ENG.
Mead - North Curry in Somersetshire, ENG.
Stevenson - Lowick in Northumberland, ENG.

I also have a German connection so will have to sort those names out.

Names that escape my for ever searching from Naracourte Area here in SE South Australia are Mitchell and Hollis.

Carol is a Liddington from LLanishen Cardiff, South Wales.
Some people worry about their past catching up with them - I'm trying to catch up with my past.

Interesting Lew..... :P I havent done much research myself lately on Son in laws mothers side. We had been out to restaurant with them a few times, and Pam ( Lances mum ) had asked me if i would mind doing a bit more research on her side of the family tree......and gave me some papers documents and Photos of what she had from her g,grandmothers line.

I'm going to do a bit more digging in Warnambool...and Camebridgshire.

Here is a pic of Sarah WORLAND b. 19th Nov 1837 Cambridgeshire and Thomas WILLIAMS b.Launceston Tassie.. here in Ozzie land.

Morning All. Jilly, there's a Hume Highway. Do you want to claim that one??? :D

Tone, my Worland connection is a bit obscure, because William Worland married Elizabeth Negus. My connection is through Elizabeth's younger sister Lydia who married Benjamin Harper. They came to Australia in 1855 on The Shand :D

O'k Lew. No probs mate. Theres most likely a weee connection somewheres.......... but through various marriages of siblings.

Here's a reasonably good link to anyone that may have had early pioneer relo's in the Warrnambool/Port Fairy district of Victoria.

http://www.hotkey.net.au/~jwilliams4/westdist.htm

Jilly. Hume is a popular surname here darnunder, and possibly some very notable pioneer decendants with the Hume surname.
Hamilton Hume was born in Parramatta, N.S.W on 18 June 1797 and was one of the first Australian born explorers.
If you have a given name, and a approx timeline to go with your Hume......1800s, 1900s....we can have a browze mate.

Shazza. Where were your Bullock from ? ..ta ( and dont say the farm :rolf ) I have Bullock in my Family too....from U.K ( Essex )

Panda. You have a Charles Williamson, do you know much about this line mate.
