Yes Dizzi,

Those are my lot. I haven't quiet worked out, how Elizabeth met and married Henry Dorrell so quickly. Charles and Martha arrived in Victoria, and went overland to South Australia,.......... no short stroll.

Those George"s look interesting, i thought if i found Georges birth, maybe i could search any other children they had and maybe turn up my Charles. He is very hard to pin down.

Thank you so much for taking the time to have a look for me, i really appreciate it.

Cheers

Hi Dizzi,

It is my Elizabeth Maynard, but not a tree generated by me, it is some research done by Daryl Povey, who was doing some convict research. Hence Henry Dorrell, this is the only information he has on the Maynard component.

HI DIZZI,

THAT WOULD BE GREAT, I KNOW IT IS A BIT OFF TO THE SIDE, AND GEORGE MAY NOT BE RELATED TO MY CHARLES, BUT THE FACT THAT CHARLES AND MARTHA SIGNED GEOIRGE'S MARRIAGE REGISTRATION LEADS ME TO THINK THAT THERE PROBABLY IS A CONECTION. COULD BE BROTHERS OR COUSINS, AND THE SAME FOR THEIR WIVES. IF YOU CAN THINK OF ANYTHING ELSE I CAN TO TRY TO TRACK CHARLES DOWN, DON'T HESITATE TO TELL ME. HE HAS BEEN MY BRICK WALL FOR SUCH A LONG TIME, AND THE WHOLE REASON I STARTED RESEARCHING ALL THOSE YEARS AGO. THANK YOU FOR THE EFFORT YOU HAVE ALREADY PUT IN.

Missing for years now :D
Birth of George Armitage abt 1805/06, Yorkshire. We thought Huddersfield but their library and expert researcher Steve Whitwam cannot find him, although there are a number of Georges Steve founded the Huddersfield Historiacal lot and has extensively researched fh in the Huddersfield area so knows families. I have what we think is his death certificate died 2 April 1842 - occupation brickmaker - Huddersfield

His occcupation on my grtgrt grandfather's marriage certificate is brickmaker also and the said's bro's marriage certificate. In 1841 census though his occupation was listed as labourer, wife Mary, children Hannah, Joseph and Sarah, with we think the eldest child William living up the road with another Armitage Eilda Armitage, (who by the way despite sending for death certs cannot find in the 1840 or on the 1851 census)
