lol, thankyou for the email,
slow process innit. I had an inkling a while ago that Lizzie had died and William remarried. Just couldnt find the bits and then probably run out of time. I also wondered why Lizzie had died in Guildford? It didnt take these blokes long to find another wifey hey.

I am now waiting for some confirmation off a Ms Gadd in England, hopefully she can fill in the gaps. she isnt a financial member of GR anymore so she cant see my tree, however have emailed her the 3 generations from my nan. Appaerntly she is a school teacher, so hopefully when holidays start yippee.

I can share it all with you. Every part of this has taken ages, my nan Gladys Nellie Gadd only had a sister who died from the flu.
Gladys dad Henry James, also known as James Harry, Harry Gadd, - was told he died in the war. Lucy, Gladys mum remarried a John Miles from Croydon but they moved to Hayling Island not long after that. Dad could never remember whether his mum was a Gad or Miles first. Hes always spelled her name with one D.
Couldnt get a cert for Lucy. William Gadds are all over the shop.

I ramble ,

thankyou again xxxxxx
