now my search widens to NZ I am trying to find Thomas Murray Munro and Ethel Evelyn nee Kemps full marriage information, all i know that they were married at Palmerston North. he (Thomas) was 40 at the event, so he died in 1937 minus 40 makes him married c1897.

They had 3 daughters and 4 sons ....
at time of his death childrens aged were
daughters 31, 27, 19.
sons 33, 29, 24, 22.

the brother David A S Munro married twice
Louisa nee Dunstan at Invercargill, NZ. c1901
Agnes Maitland nee Campbell, at Christchurch NZ. c1921
no children according to death certificate.

Ron

In fact there are two thomas Murray MUNROs....

one was born 1861 died 1862, and the second thomas murray born 1863 the one I am tracing now.

Obviously the parents liked the name and used it again. This had me puzzled for a few years believe me.

DIZZY, YOU HAVE IT TOTALLY WRONG, IF YOU TRULY READ WHAT I PREVIOUSLY WROTE, YOU WILL SEE THAT ONE SON WAS BORN AND DIED AND THEN THE NEXT SON BORN WAS NAMED THE SAME. NO-ONE EVER HAS TWO CHILDREN NAMED THE EXACT SAME AND LIVING AT THE SAME TIME.
