FLAT FRIED BREAD

(Because of my indigestion I've been told to try Spleat Flour or Maize Cornflower)

1 cup Spleat Flour + 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1 tblsp oil
1/4 tsp salt
1 pinch of whatever you want your bread to be ie: herbs, extra garlic, spices, sultanas, cheese for variety or just plain to eat with stews or curry.
1 clove garlic

Stir together with knife slowly adding
1 cup cold water from fridge
Stir until a doughy consistency (you may not need the whole cup full)
Cut dough in 4 pieces and press them flat.
Fry in pan with oil until golden brown on each side or cooked through to centre.
serve with or without butter.

That shouldn't be to bad for you Vette with Maize Cornflour but I don't know anything about the Spleat Flour I meant to look it up.

Queenie that is the way Marion spelt it out to me. Like I said to Vette I know nothing about it.
