FLAT FRIED BREAD
(Because of my indigestion I've been told to try Spleat Flour or Maize Cornflower)
1 cup Spleat Flour + 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1 tblsp oil
1/4 tsp salt
1 pinch of whatever you want your bread to be ie: herbs, extra garlic, spices, sultanas, cheese for variety or just plain to eat with stews or curry.
1 clove garlic
Stir together with knife slowly adding
1 cup cold water from fridge
Stir until a doughy consistency (you may not need the whole cup full)
Cut dough in 4 pieces and press them flat.
Fry in pan with oil until golden brown on each side or cooked through to centre.
serve with or without butter.
