CROCKPOT BAKED BEANS

Boil 2 cups white cannellini beans until al dente

Prepare any or all the following (to taste) :

2 small onions chopped well (or one large)
plenty crushed garlic
1 tbsp dried mustard
1 tbsp dried curry powder
1 tbsp Worcestorshire sauce
2 tblsp dark molasses ( mine was Homebrand, can get
it at health food stores if not in supermarket near you)

I added I fresh red chilli, finely chopped

(other recipe alternatives include tamari sauce rather than
Wooster, dill, allspice, extra tomato paste, dijon or grain mustard
instead of powdered, lemon juice, dark rum, minced veg like carrot, celery
bell pepper.............. can also add diced ham)

Drain beans and put in crockpot, add all other ingredients.

Pour one large can of diced Italian tomotoes over the top ( 800g).

Cook on low for 4 to 6 hrs, mixing gently occasionally, or overnight on keep warm -
add water if required, mine ended up quite thick and sticky, and
very tasty.

Makes PLENTY lol !! Good for breakfast lunch or dinner !

Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.
