When my smoke alarm goes off I just wave my teatowel under it and it stops..must admit I wave it frantically...cant stand the noise :lol: :lol: :lol:

Mum's goes off when the veggies are steaming on the stove but if something burns in the frypan (not often does that happen) and smoke fills the place it doesn't go off :roll: She does the tea towel thing as well LM :lol:

i think my battery need replacing. Now I did find out something a bit nifty.

If you are an aged pensioner and your smoke alarm batteries need replacing, the firemen will come and do it for you, just ask them to wear their uniforms to get the full benefit.
